Health tips
Press firmly on a bleeding cut
for 10 minutes with a clean cloth before deciding whether to come in.
Cool a minor burn under cool running water,
not ice, which can damage the skin further.
Rest and raise a sprained ankle or wrist
until it's checked.
Bring your medication list and ID,
so the visit moves faster.

Adults need a tetanus booster every 10 years, and sooner after a dirty or deep wound if it's been more than 5 years.
Ice on a burn can cause more damage than the burn itself; cool running water is the recommended first step.
