Health tips
Check your blood pressure at the same time each day,
seated, after five minutes of rest, and bring the readings to your visit.
Watch for summer heat.
Oklahoma summers can affect blood sugar and blood pressure; drink water through the day and ask your provider how heat interacts with your medications.
Never stop a medication on your own.
If side effects bother you, call so your provider can adjust it.
Look at your feet every day
if you have diabetes, and point out any cuts or sores at your next visit.
